DANCE ON PASS ON DREAM ON is an extensive cultural and art project that had been developed by nine organisations from eight European countries to address the issue of ageing in the field of dance and in the wider society. It is led by a non-profit organisation Diehl+Ritter from Berlin, project partners include Dutch art university Codarts, collective GRIP led by Belgian choreographer Jan Martens, Austrian cultural centre Festspielhaus from St. Pölten, Dutch dance festival, Swedish dance group Jus de la Vie, Nomad Dance Academy Slovenia and Sadler’s Wells theatre from London. The league of partners dedicated to change with their production know-how, network of venues, festivals, and educational institutions and programmes: to prevent the continued ignoring and discriminating of older dancers and human bodies, they have decided to affirm the process of ageing and its experiential richness both in the framework of performing arts as well as in the wider society. Project DANCE ON PASS ON DREAM ON is in progress from June 2016 and is expected to end in May 2019, project is supported by the EU programme Creative Europe.

DANCE ON assures the long-term possibility for dance career also to dancers above 40 year of age. PASS ON is a research programme that deals with models of transmission (also of historisation and archiving) of ephemeral and experiential knowledge and works that are presented in dance. DREAM ON is intended for older persons that are interested in dance and creative movement.
